He Does What He Does

There is a shadow

Lurking forever behind

Waiting for right Time

He listens to none

And seeks no one’s permission

He does what he does

Who can put him off?

Not you, not me, not the God

He does what he does

Think of him your foe

Or make him your greatest friend

He does what he does

He makes you live life

To its fullest, and not less

He does what he does

He is harbinger

Of death, pain, and departure

He does what he does

He is a teacher

Of life, and living it right

He does what he does

(Today’s post is dedicated to one of the most beloved member of our family, whom we sadly lost today… we’ll always remember you…)

The Blade Approaches (Inktober #2 & Haiku)

The blade approaches

Closer every second, with

The cold bite of death

My second Inktober entry also works as a character sketch for the book I’m trying to write for NaNoWriMo this November. Or at least that’s what I like to tell myself. As I said earlier, I’m a pretty good procrastinator. 🙂

And while I was at it, I also tried a few other warrior sketches (also with an ink ((also not that perfect)) )…

Thanks for stopping by and reading, you guys! I can’t thank you enough for this.

Have a great weekend!

The Story Inside! #haiku #doodle

Staring at nothing

Hoping for you to show up

I’ve waited too long!

Is your Persistence strong enough to force out That Awesome Story past the Writer’s Block?

The Battle #haiku #drawing

Me vs. Time | Round ???

There are days I wish

For a single day to have

At least forty hours!

Many things to do

So many places to be

Ah, but not much Time!

I’m sure every person in the world goes through a constant battle with time to fit in all their “to dos” within the stipulated 24 hours limit. Many succeed, no doubt. But for others, it’s always a constant struggle.

So I thought this battle warranted a scribble, albeit a simple one.

On that note. Have a great weekend!

P.S. I wanted to draw this one in greater detail, but then I thought… wouldn’t that be defying the purpose? 🙂

Drawing Everyday #”Lost Count” (Still Life: My guitar)

You who lives within
The one who pulls all the strings
Tell me, who are you?

You who lives inside
And speaks to me constantly
Tell me, who are you?

Are you the master?
Or are you the one who serves?
Tell me, who are you?

They say we are one
And that I am what you are
Is it really so?

You go on and on
Musing, worrying, moaning
Is that really me?

So I ask this once
Answer me, the voice inside!
Tell me, who are you?

(inspired by the lessons of Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth”)
